To become a centre of excellence in research on Earthquake Engineering and related areas. We aims to give solutions for disaster management in general and construction of safe building infrastructure in particular.

• Currently centre is running 8 projects. Total funding from these projects is around Rs.350 lakhs. Funding is from DST, MoES DISANET, MHRD and Govt of AP


• Organized 5 National level workshops and 10 seminars.


• Published over 150 research papers in last 5 years.


• Organised 30 short-courses of 3-5 days duration and trained till now around 500 engineers on earthquake resistant design of structures


• Installed “Strong Motion Accelerograph” in Hyderabad.


• Installed “Building Vibration Sensors” in Chandigarh.
