A student’s chapter of the Indian Association of Structural Engineers (IAStructE) was inaugurated at Earthquake Engineering Research Centre (EERC), IIIT Hyderabad on 29th August 2022 in an online mode. Prof. Pradeep Kumar Ramancharla, Vice President, IAStructE South Region welcomed the guests and addressed the students. This was followed by the presidential address by Shri. Manoj Mittal, President, IAStructE. The inaugural address was given by Prof. Mahesh Tandon, Past President, IAStructE and the guest address by Dr. Shilpa Pal, Associate Professor, Delhi Technological University. Introduction to the executive committee of the student body and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. P. Pravin Kumar Venkat Rao, Faculty Advisor of IAStructE student’s chapter.
